General
Do my child and I need grippy socks?
Kids must wear grippy socks. Adults may wear regular socks. Everyone removes shoes at entry, and bare feet are not allowed.
Do I have to reserve online?
Reservations are strongly encouraged, especially on Saturdays, but walk-ins are welcome if space is available.
Do adults stay with their kids?
Yes. An adult must remain onsite and actively supervise their child(ren) at all times. Owlchemy Play Lab is not a drop-off facility.
What ages is Owlchemy Play Lab designed for?
The lab is designed for children ages 3 and up. Children ages 1–2 are welcome with close adult supervision, but a parent or caregiver must stay with them throughout the entire visit.
Are babies allowed?
Yes. Babies under 1 are welcome and do not need a paid admission as long as they stay with their parent or caregiver and are not actively using the play areas.
For safety, any child who is crawling, walking, or actively playing must have a paid admission and must be closely supervised by an adult throughout the visit.
Do adults need a ticket?
Yes. Each child admission includes one accompanying adult. Additional adults require an admission ticket. This helps us maintain a safe and comfortable environment for all guests.
How long is an Open Play visit?
Each Open Play visit is 2 hours. Walk-ins are welcome, but admission is based on availability.
Can siblings play together?
Absolutely! Siblings are welcome to explore and play together.

Can I bring drinks inside?
Reusable water bottles from outside are allowed. We also sell drinks. To help keep our space clean and safe, drinks should stay with the supervising adult and not travel throughout the play space.

Confetti, glitter, silly string, and similar materials are not allowed.
Can I bring my own food and cake?

Parties may be booked up to 3 months in advance.
Why do I need to serve my own food?
Owlchemy Play Lab is not a licensed food service facility. Because Los Angeles County has strict requirements for businesses that handle or serve food, party hosts are responsible for bringing and serving their own food.
